PEAK OPEN PRACTICE (SKI OR SNOWBOARD)

All participants must be able to:
• Maintain a steady downhill speed
• Control speed and change direction
• Use the Drag/Poma lifts independently

Important: Everyone taking part must wear GLOVES.

Peak Open Practice sessions are 1 hour long and run on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.

These sessions are not coached. A qualified member of staff will be present to oversee the session and ensure it runs smoothly.

Suitable for confident, independent skiers and snowboarders looking to practise and enjoy time on the slope in a controlled setting.

Please be considerate of others — especially during busy times — and follow all guidance from staff on duty.

SNOWBOARDING REQUIREMENTS (IMPORTANT)

Due to the friction and surface characteristics of our dry ski slope, snowboarding participants must meet the following minimum participation requirements in order to achieve sufficient movement and downhill speed on the slope:

• Minimum weight: 8 stone (50kg)
• Minimum height: 1.55m (5ft 1in)
• Minimum shoe size: UK size 3

Participants who do not meet these requirements are unable to generate enough momentum to move consistently down the slope and therefore cannot take part in snowboard Open Practice sessions.

To change or reschedule a Peak Open Practice booking, a £5 admin fee will apply.

CftC stands for Care for the Carers Card. This card must be presented on arrival; otherwise, the additional cost will be charged at that time.
