UPDATE: In line with the latest Government guidelines, from Monday 14th September we will be unable to permit any groups of guests with more than six people into the zoo. Please do not pre-book tickets for a group larger than six people (unless your single household family 'bubble' has more than six people in it). The rest of the zoo will be operating as normal with our Covid-19 safety measures in place, which all guests must continue to follow. Thank you for your understanding with this - together we can continue to ensure that everyone has a safe and enjoyable day at the zoo.

Please note: If you require a Carers ticket for a time slot, please put the ticket down in the 'Under 3 Child field'. Each guest with a disability is entitled to one free carer, and proof in the form of a PIP, DLA letter or blue badge must be presented on the day of your visit.

To manage our capacity, Under 3's and Carers must be booked through our system below. If you turn up on the day of your visit and not all guests have a time slot booked, then we may have to refuse you entry.

Children under the age of 16 will not be admitted without being accompanied by a responsible adult over the age of 18.

The zoo opening times are 10am to 5pm. The Tropical House remains closed for your safety.

All tickets and time slot bookings are non-refundable and non-transferable.

We can permit reciprocal visits from guests who are members with other select UK zoos. These members will be able to book a time slot on available dates to visit from 1pm onwards, and will need to call our Reception on 01637 873342 to book this in. We are unable to take these bookings on our online system.

Guests are required to wear a face covering in all indoor areas at the zoo. This includes exiting the zoo via our gift shop, catering outlets and any indoor animal exhibits. Face coverings are not required for all other outdoor areas of the zoo, however guests are more than welcome to wear one at all times if they wish. You do not need to wear a face covering in our indoor areas if you have a legitimate reason not to and are exempt from the regulations. Please see our Updates page for full information.
