A world of bats - discovery talk and exploration

Meet Dr Luke Romaine, expert in all things bat-related, as he takes on a whirlwind tour of UK bats.

Following a fascinating and entertaining talk held inside at the Botanic Gardens, we will head up to the Downs together as dusk falls to explore the bat life on-site. Listen for a variety of echolocations with our bat detectors and use thermal imagery & screens to 'see' our bats & their sounds waves!

Children must be comfortable to be in a social group and responsive to adults who are looking after them during the nature club.

Suitable for adults.

At the University of Bristol Botanic Garden, and on the Downs and over to the Avon Gorge.
