ADULTS (15yrs+) INTRODUCTION TO SKIING

This session is ideal for those who are completely new to skiing and ready to take their first steps on the slope.

Please arrive at least 30 minutes before your lesson start time.
This allows time to get you fitted with boots and skis — this fitting is not part of your 1-hour slope lesson.

During your session, you’ll learn the essential beginner skills:

Please watch the Snowsport Ski Way Code video before attending your session:

How to put on your skis
Walking and turning on the flat
Side-stepping and turning on the slope
Straight run exercises
Beginning to form a snowplough

This session only needs to be completed once, as it covers all the core skills you’ll need to move forward with confidence.

Please note: We always aim to run sessions as planned. If fewer than 5 participants are booked, the session may be joined by our Junior Introduction to Skiing group (ages 8–14). All activities will still be age-appropriate.

CftC stands for Care for the Carers Card. This card must be presented on arrival; otherwise, the additional cost will be charged at that time.

To change or move a session after booking, a £10 admin fee will apply.
