SNOWBOARD TECHNICAL SKILLS

All participants must: Be able to control their speed and use Drag/Poma lifts without assistance.

Important: All persons taking part must wear GLOVES.

This is a 1-hour coached session for snowboarders aged 10+.

About this session:
Whether you’re easing back into snowboarding, finding your feet again (hello, Confidence Builders), or fine-tuning your carves and control (you Technical Skills legends), this session covers both.

The coach will support both groups at the same time by assigning activities to individuals, pairs, or small groups. You’re encouraged to keep riding and ask for help — the more proactive you are, the more feedback you’ll get. It’s perfect for anyone looking to build confidence, improve technique, or just get back on the board.

Snowboarding Participation Requirements (Important)

Due to the friction and surface characteristics of our dry ski slope, snowboard participants must meet the following minimum participation requirements in order to achieve sufficient movement and downhill speed on the slope:

• Minimum weight: 8 stone (50kg)
• Minimum height: 1.55m (5ft 1in)
• Minimum shoe size: UK size 3

Participants who do not meet these requirements may be unable to generate enough momentum to move consistently on the slope.
