HOME EDUCATION SKI COURSE (8years+)

This four-week course is perfect for children who are completely new to skiing and are ready to take their first steps on the slope - progressing all the way to confidently skiing in a snowplough on their own.

Please arrive at least 30 minutes before your lesson start time.
This ensures there's time to go through the Ski Way Code in the first session and to get fitted with boots and skis.
Please note that equipment fitting is not part of your 1-hour slope lesson.

Session One - Introduction to Skiing:

• How to put on your skis
• Walking and turning on the flat
• Side-stepping and turning on the slope
• Straight run exercises
• Beginning to form a snowplough

Session Two - Building Confidence:

• Starting snowplough stops
• Controlling snowplough glides
• Managing straight runs and stops
• Using the drag lift independently

Session Three - Turning & Control:

• Developing snowplough turns
• Controlling speed through turning
• Stopping safely on command in a snowplough
• Using more of the slope with confidence

Session Four - Skiing Independently:

• Strong snowplough turns
• Starting to work towards basic parallel skiing
• Using the full slope safely and confidently
• Becoming ready to ski independently

A £5 admin fee will apply for any changes or rescheduling after booking.
