Part Two: Masbury Summit to Broadstone A fresh look at Ivo Peters' film of the somerset & Dorset Railway, which closed in 1966. In this second volume, we continue our journey down the line from Masbury Summit on the Mendips, 811 feet above sea level, to Broadstone, the end of the S&D line itself and 8 miles from Bournemouth West. (Part One brought us from Bath to Masbury). We then make a return journey from Evercreech Junction back to Bath on a frieght train.
